Hello & welcome to our blog!
This blog is a collection of posts by two sisters. Genetically Indian, Big Sis now lives in the UAE, and Lil Sis lives in New Zealand. The sisters grew up partially in Kuwait and New Zealand. When Big Sis took the marital plunge way back in 2007 and moved in with her hubby in the UAE, she kept in touch with Lil Sis on everyday happenings in her new world, and enjoyed recieving news and views on life back home in New Zealand.
Many emails and Whatsapp exchanges later, the sisters thought it would be fun to start a blog together - a blog about anything and everything, a blog about life in the UAE and New Zealand. Two worlds, two voices, two sisters with radically different personalities!
Big Sis works in the advertising industry. She works full-time and is also a full-time mum to a wee two-yearold tot. She is a self-confessed shoppaholic and loves keeping abreast on fashion, with a special interest in quirky eccentric pieces. In her spare time, she plays wordsmith and enjoys putting her thoughts to paper. This blog is proving to be a perfect sanctury for that!
Lil Sis is a smart cookie; she works as a scientist, white lab coat and all! Her bubbly personality is very contagious. She is very nifty when it comes to creating quick bites and taking random clicks with her iphone. She is a far more sensible shopper than Big Sis, and only gets what she plans to. Her fashion sense is also more sensible and far less erratic than her older sibling (think comfy yet pretty flats, hoodies, gym pants).
